The School of Theatre Excellence is Brighton & Hove’s leading stage school, performing arts school and theatre school all rolled into one!

SOTE Brighton opened in 2014 and offers musical theatre training for ages 6-16 every Saturday afternoon in term times.

Students study an all round musical theatre package consisting of musical theatre ballet, jazz, choral singing and acting.  Within the MT package students receive 1 to 1 singing lessons, with regular performance classes where students perform solo songs in front of their group, or on many occasions to the whole school and parents.  Many students come to SOTE with no previous experience, which we very much encourage.

SOTE Brighton is designed for nurturing talented students who have an enthusiasm for acting, singing & dancing and love to perform.  To join we encourage students to take a FREE TASTER SESSION where you will train with our current students. You will also receive a private singing lesson. At the end of the day we will have a short chat with both you and your parents to discuss everything that you have learnt and what you would like to achieve by joining the school.

Our next FREE TASTER SESSION in on Saturday 12th January contact us for more details.

SOTE Brighton session time is Saturday 12.30pm – 4.45pm (Ages 6-10)  12.45pm – 5.15pm (Ages 11-16)
